Tips for Best Results

Effective Filtering

  • Start Broad: View all data first to understand overall trends
  • Then Narrow: Apply filters to investigate specific segments
  • Compare: Toggle filters on/off to compare different groups
  • Document: Note which filters reveal interesting insights

Data Analysis Workflow

  1. Review all auto-generated charts
  2. Identify interesting patterns or outliers
  3. Apply filters to investigate further
  4. Use word clouds to understand open-ended feedback
  5. Export findings for sharing

Using Timeframes

  • Trend Analysis: Compare different time periods
  • Seasonal Patterns: Look at quarterly or monthly data
  • Recent Feedback: Focus on last 7-30 days for current issues
  • Historical View: Use longer ranges for overall performance

Text Question Analysis

  • Start with Word Cloud: Get a quick visual overview
  • Click Large Words: Understand common themes
  • Use NLP Charts: See sentiment trends (if enabled)
  • Read Comments: Click through to individual responses for context

Working with Multiple Filters

  • Combine response and contact filters for targeted analysis
  • Example"Show 5-star ratings from the Sales department"
  • Be careful not to over-filter (too few results to analyze)
  • Clear filters frequently to avoid confusion

Understanding Chart Behavior

Automatic Updates
  • Charts refresh instantly when you apply filters
  • All charts update simultaneously
  • Loading indicators show when processing
Data Requirements
  • At least one response needed to generate charts
  • Some chart types need minimum data points
  • "No data" message appears if filters exclude all responses
Filter Persistence
  • Filters remain active until you clear them
  • Collapsing sidebar doesn't remove filters
  • Refresh the page to clear all filters

Troubleshooting

"No charts found"
  • Campaign has no responses yet
  • All responses were filtered out
  • Try removing some filters
Charts not updating
  • Check that timeframe is valid
  • Ensure date range includes responses
  • Try clearing all filters and reapplying
Word cloud is empty
  • No text responses for that question
  • All text responses were filtered out
  • Question may not have collected any data yet
Export taking a long time
  • Large reports with many charts may take 30-60 seconds
  • Don't close the browser during generation
  • Progress indicator shows it's working
Can't click on word cloud/charts
  • Wait for chart to fully load
  • Disable any browser extensions that may interfere
  • Try refreshing the page
